Frozen Hugo Spritz

Crisp prosecco meets sweet elderflower cordial for a pale, fragrant slush with gentle lime acidity. Created in South Tyrol as an alpine alternative to the Aperol spritz, it belongs on a sunny balcony with friends. Spoon it into large wine glasses and finish with a fresh sprig of garden mint.

To make Frozen Hugo Spritz in a slush machine, blend prosecco, elderflower cordial, soda water, pour the mix into the machine and run the Frozen Cocktail program for about 20–25 minutes. This Frozen Cocktails recipe makes a full 2.4-litre batch — about 8–10 glasses — ready to serve straight from the tap.
